Online program on Disaster Risk Management (DRM) is a collaborative effort of World Bank Institute – Global Facility for Disaster Reduction & Recovery (WBI-GFDRR) and the National Institute of Disaster Management (NIDM), Ministry of Home Affairs, through which ten (10) online courses on various themes are being offered.

The primary objective of this collaboration was to take joint efforts in improving the capacity of Indian Institutions and Professionals in the field of Disaster Risk Reduction through virtual learning. It also aimed at disseminating the contemporary concepts, methods, and analytical tools for facilitating disaster risk reduction strategies in the country. The Agreement provided learning opportunities to development of practitioners involved in Disaster Risk Management in India and other countries.
